What makes Mk2 Mk4 bins so special?

The Taylor Mk2 and Mk4 bins offer the highest standard product specification in the UK market. The bin features a 1.7mm* thick galvanised steel body, fully internally seam welded to prevent liquid ingress and rusting.

The base features 2.0mm** thick galvanised steel, 20% more than the standard specification of other bin brands, to prolong container life and avoid unwanted refurbishment costs.

The Mk2 and Mk4 newly designed lifting comb is manufactured from 2.0mm** thick galvanised steel and features 7 gussets for additional strength. CCE’s unrivalled expertise in waste container applications is reflected in our standard product specification. Danish handles, CCE’s in-house designed hinge and bracket set, patented lock and EN840 castors (2 swivels, 2 brakes) are all included in the basic container price.

All Containers are internally seam welded to ensure water-tightness and prevent the ingress of waste into the joins, thus preventing premature corrosion.

All Containers are fully hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:1999 after assembly to ensure a hard-wearing and corrosion-resistant coating.

All containers are fully EN 840 compliant (where applicable) to certify a safe and quality product is supplied and to ensure the product is compatible with all known lifting devices.

The patented top frame is an unbroken pressed steel tube designed to give maximum rigidity to the container during lifts for a longer life span.

The patented comb bar is a Rolled section tube with a step profile to ensure maximum rigidity and safe and efficient fit on vehicle lifts. The lifting bar must integrate with all refuse collection vehicles meeting the specification in the European Standard EN 15.

All four castors are 200mm steel-centred rubber-tyred swivel castors, two of which are fitted with trailing brakes (Brakes are press to lock, press to release)

Lids are Rotary-molded double-skin plastic with a minimum weight of 5.0 kilos manufactured in an aluminium mould for a superior finish.

Colour Options: The container can be powder coated using polyester powder, which is baked and cured in a controlled oven process.
