Taylor 1100 litre can be supplied with a Lid Within Lid Flap opening. The lid flap is easier to open as the flap is lighter. Located at the front of the bin, consumers do not have to reach to open the lid flap,
Lid in Lid with optional Restrictor Plate
Though the importance of recycling is understood, one of the greatest obstacles faced in the waste management and recycling sector is consumer participation - often because they believe it is much harder than it is, or that the items they fail to recycle correctly will be of little consequence.
The truth is that recycling has never been easier, yet the impact of contaminated waste on budgets, greater than ever.
One of the simplest ways to solve this is to provide easy-to-access and utilise recycling bins, banks, and containers which can help prevent waste contamination at its source.
The Lid in Lid with waste segregation in mind. Additional restrictor plates are
Available in a range of aperture shapes and sizes to control specific waste streams, enabling waste segregation at the source and preventing possible contamination.
Benefits The lid flap is easier to open as the flap is lighter

Taylor Mk41100 litre, Steel Bin Hot-Dipped Galvanised Steel along with internally welded seams, ensures robust protection in the harshest of environments and protects the container from internal corrosion due to residual waste being caught in exposed corners. Internally welded seams stop water penetration.
Highly Durable Galvanised Steel Body
The Galvanised Steel Body, hot-dipped galvanised steel, and fully internally welded seams ensure robust protection in the harshest of environments and protect the container from internal corrosion due to residual waste caught in exposed corners.
Internally welded seams stop water penetration, preventing the corrosion that plagues less well-made metal waste containers. Full EN840 certification will give you exceptional lifetime value with limited downtime.
Steel-centred castor wheels manufactured with needle bearings, grease and rubber optimised for performance (we don’t offer plastic-centred castors)
Internally welded seams prevent internal corrosion, whilst the hard-wearing galvanized steel body and base make for a durable, long-lasting container that delivers exceptional lifetime value.
The key benefits to owning continental recycling bins are they are completely durable, low maintenance, fire containment, long life, vandal proof and low cost of ownership compared to similar bins.
Galvanised Steel Panels Front, Rear and Side Panels are constructed from 1.5mm Mild Steel Swages between 2 to 7mm and panels have a bowed-out geometry to spring out under heavy loads.
The top frame is a complete welded tube, not split or open bend, with a diameter of 20mm. The use of the complete welded tube is very important here, as by using a complete tube there are no holes or gaps in which waste can leak into the top frame itself when the container is lifted on emptying.
The Comb Bar is manufactured from a single piece of steel with welded end pieces and gussets.

plagues less well-made metal waste containers. With full EN840 certification, they will give you exceptional lifetime value with limited downtime, unlike plastic and other alternative commercial steel trade waste bins.

All four castors are 200mm steel-centred rubber-tyred swivel castors, two of which are fitted with trailing brakes (Brakes are press to lock, press to release)
Castor brackets are manufactured from 3.5mm thick pressed steel to a minimum overall height of 30mm welded to the pressed container base. Castor brackets also include ‘Birds Beaks’ in their construction to resist material deformation.
All four castors are 200mm Steel centred wheels manufactured with needle bearings, grease and rubber optimised for performance steel-centred rubber-tyred swivel castors, two of which are fitted with trailing brakes (Brakes are press to lock, press to release) are bolted on for easy replacement. Two-foot operated, trailing braking wheels at the front with two swivel wheels at the back. (Not Welded On or Plastic Centred
Castors)
Also available with Castors Options
Heavy Duty 20mm Casters: Mainly used with bins fitted with heavy-duty base, suitable for dense waste materials (Food Waste) and for loading waste compactors and bins fitted with External and Internal fork pockets.
Non-marking casters are mainly used by Airports and Hotel lobbies, Schools, Hospitals, Offices, and Shopping Centres, which have non-marking floor Vinyl, Epoxy, and Laminate Floor covering.
Continental Towing containers are fully adapted and built with heavy-duty reinforced base heavy-duty Power castors and a removable tow link system allowing up to 4 wheeled containers to be moved simultaneously subject to bin size and materials, ground conditions, and material weights.
Bin Towing Containers provide a safe, practical answer to all towing requirements. Any container to be towed should be fitted with heavy-duty Power Towing castors or two swivel castors complete with directional locks, at one end of the container and no more than four containers should be towed at any one time.
Heavy Duty Power Towing Castors 2 Swivel 2 Directional Lock is designed for towing up to 4 bins also the base is a heavy-duty build
Please note we would not recommend using standard castor's standard bin base for towing bins
Please contact us on 01709 730341 if you need more information on “Towing Guidelines” or Castor Options and technical advice.
Available with either a drop front or drop back panel
Continental Drop Front and Drop Back containers have been created to help avoid the health and safety risks associated with handballing bagged or bulky waste, often an important requirement within retail and manufacturing environments or easy emptying mainly used by charity shops,
The drop-back Panel bin is fitted with a Comb Bar and a front-hinged lid.
The drop Front Panel Bin isn't fitted with a Comb Bar and the lid is hinged at the back of the bin
