All Continental Clinical Bins are built to meet the Stringent  UN approved* 4 wheeled clinical waste Standards.
Fitted with a steel galvanised body, internally welded seams, and drop-resistant castors. Creating the ultimate medical waste container provides you with a large-capacity solution for clinical waste from hospitals, surgeries, care homes, and clinics. Required by many recycling companies and hospital authorities for the safety and well-being of their staff.

All Continental Clinical Bins are built to meet the Stringent Standards With a steel galvanised body, internally welded seams and drop-resistant
castors.
With a steel galvanised body, internally welded seams, and drop-resistant castors, our Clinical waste bins offer waste managers a secure option for disposing of bio-hazardous material.

Continental offers the largest range of UN-approved* 4-wheeled clinical waste containers.
The exceptional quality of manufacturing, which includes internally welded seams and a galvanized steel body with drop-resistant castors creates the ultimate medical waste container providing you with a large-capacity solution for clinical waste from hospitals, surgeries, care homes and clinics.

The 820 Clinical bin is ideal for your medium to large collection needs where space is limited.

With the same footprint as the 770, the sump base creates extra storage capacity whilst retaining the same superb towing capability as the smaller model.

Internally welded seams prevent internal corrosion, whilst the hard-wearing galvanized steel body and base make for a durable, long-lasting container that delivers exceptional lifetime value when compared to plastic or alternative steel containers.

The 820 - 1100 Clinical Waste Storage Containers are also available in a drop front variant to allow easy transfer of clinical waste to
and from the container and as with all the Continental range is fully EN840 certified ensuring superb quality and safety.

Drop Back / Front does not meet UN Clinical Standards

We also offer a range of other EN840-certified bins with features such as drop-back panels. Please let us know when ordering if you specifically require a UN-approved container.

* Containers that meet the UN Clinical Standard, by the very definition of the standard, do not have drain plugs in the base, nor can they have foot-operated lids, drop back/drop front doors or mesh sides. If you wish to order to the UN Clinical Standard please state this in your enquiry and on ordering. We can supply EN840-certified bins for Clinical use to meet your needs and with our full range of options, but unless specified above these will not meet the UN Clinical Standard. Our standard specification (except for UN Clinical Standard) is to include a drain plug in the base of the bin and to use standard black rubber steel-centred castors. Please see Continental UN certificates which offer a full definition of the requirements for UN approval.

All Continental Clinical Bins Meet the Following Stringent Requirements, plastic euro bins don't meet these standards.

Internally welded seams stop water penetration, preventing the corrosion that plagues less well-made metal waste containers. With full EN840 certification, they will give you exceptional lifetime value with limited downtime unlike plastic and other alternative steel commercial trade waste bins.

Internally welded seams prevent internal corrosion, whilst the hard-wearing galvanised steel body and base make for a durable, long-lasting container that delivers exceptional lifetime value when compared to plastic or alternative steel containers.
The key benefits to owning continental clinical waste bins are they are completely durable, low maintenance, and fire containment, long life, vandal proof, and low cost of ownership compared to similar bins.
EN 840 is the recognised European standard for mobile waste containers of various capacities and specifications. By ensuring your bin(s) are compliant with these standards, you are able to help ensure the safety of employees and the general public.

The handles are placed in the optimal areas for ergonomics and manoeuvrability of the containers, whilst still retaining a safe distance from any moving parts on the refuse truck.

The castors fitted to the bins are tested for both strength and rolling resistance to ensure you get a long life from the bin, yet the bin is still compliant with all health and safety recommendations for manoeuvring wheeled objects.

Key product features:
  • Galvanised Steel Body, hot-dipped galvanised steel along with fully internally welded seams, ensures robust protection in the harshest of environments and protects the container from internal corrosion due to residual waste being caught in exposed corners.
Steel Panels Front, Rear and Side Panels are constructed from 1.5mm Mild Steel Swages are between 2 to 7mm and panels have a bowed out geometry to spring out under heavy loads
  • The container can be powder-coated option using polyester powder, which is baked and cured in a controlled oven process providing a layer of protection against corrosion, scratches/chipping, and fading, being one of the most long-lasting superior paint finishes, and color-durable quality available in 12 standard colours
  • The Comb Bar is manufactured from a single piece of steel with welded end pieces and gussets.
  • The top frame is a complete welded tube, not split or open bend, with a diameter of 20mm. The use of the complete welded tube is very important here, as by using a complete tube there are no holes or gaps in which waste can leak into the top frame itself when the container is lifted on emptying
  • Container Bin Lids are Rotary-moulded double-skin plastic with a minimum weight of 5.0 kilo manufactured in an aluminum mould for a superior finish 12 Standard Colour Options.
  • Container Bin Lid Options
  • Standard Trade Lid
  • 2 Aperture Bottle Brush Lid
  • Recycling Flap Lid
  • Bolt on Castor Options for easy replacement
  • Standard 200mm Steel Centred Castors
  • Heavy Duty 200m Castors
  • 200mm High-Speed Towing Castors
  • None Marking 200mm Castors
The continental clinical  bins are a true  820 - 1100 litre capacity complying with  EN840 standard whereas flat-based bins fall short of this compliancy

Steel-centred wheels manufactured with needle bearings, grease, and rubber optimised for performance.

Two foot operated, trailing braking wheels at the front with two swivel wheels at the back.
Draw depth and shape of pressings optimised to avoid buckling or distortion of bin on impact or lifting when fully laden.
Other poorly designed bins fail to get this right and after usage the frame can badly distort beyond the lid, thus allowing water in
