Foot-Operated Bin Lid Opening

All-size bins are available with a foot-operated standard lid specifically adapted for situations in which bulky items can limit the use of both hands for opening the lid. The foot-operated system is perfect for black bagged waste and general waste. This simple, yet effective, foot-operated pedal bin system at the base of the container takes the slightest effort to raise the lid, therefore freeing up your arms and reducing the risk of injury if carrying awkward loads and boxes. Ideal for bin stores and bin sheds.

Mk4 1100 Litre Bin Available with either a Drop Front or Drop Back Panel
Continental Drop Front and Drop Back containers have been created to help avoid the health and safety risks associated with handballing bagged or bulky waste, often an important requirement within retail and manufacturing environments. They are easy to empty. Please note *the drop front panel bin isn’t fitted with comb but can be fitted with DIN lift points.

All four castors are 200mm steel-centred wheels manufactured with needle bearings, grease and rubber optimised for performance steel-centred rubber-tyred swivel castors, two of which are fitted with trailing brakes (Brakes are press to lock, press to release) and are bolted on for easy replacement. Two-foot operated, trailing braking wheels at the front with two swivel wheels at the back. (Not Welded On or Plastic Centred Castors) 200 mm Standard castors, Rubber tyres, Needle roller bearings, Trailing brakes, Pressed hubs, 3.5mm top plate, Zinc and clear passivate, 1230 Kgs static load rating, 690 Kgs dynamic load rating.

Non-marking castors are mainly used by Airports and Hotel lobbies, Schools, Hospitals, Offices, and Shopping Centres, which have non-marking floor Vinyl, Epoxy, and Laminate Floor covering.

Heavy Duty Power Towing Castors 2 Swivel 2 Directional Lock is designed for towing up to 4 bins and also comes standard with a heavy-duty base, including a bolt-on towing hitch and eye. 200 mm Heavy-duty High-Speed Directional Towing Castors, Elastic or polyurethane tyres, Ball race bearings, Leading brakes, Cast hubs, 5mm top plate, Zinc and gold passivate, 3000 Kgs static load rating, 1500kgs dynamic load rating.

Bin Towing Containers provide a safe, practical answer to all towing requirements. Any container which is to be towed should be fitted with heavy-duty Power Towing castors or two swivel castors complete with directional locks at one end of the container, and no more than 4 containers are towed at any one time.

The 1100L can be a powder-coated option using polyester powder, which is baked and cured in a controlled oven process providing a layer of protection against corrosion, scratches/chipping and fading.

Taylor-Mk4 1100 lid is up to 4fourtimes lighter than metal lids, thereby considerably reducing the risk of accidents for waste operatives and members of the public.

The lightweight lids, made from high-grade UV-stabilised polyethylene, give the same stability as heavier metal lids.

A rotomoulded DuraFlex lid can be bent or crushed several times and still revert to its original shape.

Lid Colour Option:

The 1100 bin can be supplied without a lid if used indoors for manufacturing and recycling applications.
